Some patients may feel more comfortable and may request to have an all-female theatre team. That means, from surgeon, to surgical assistant, to anesthetist, to nursing staff – the whole team on the day of surgery may be made up of female members only.
This is offered to female patients, by request, in the attempt to maximize comfort during, what are at times, quite intimate procedures. Patients may request this service for any of their procedures, and it can be made available to them. Dr Rita is committed to having this service available for the ongoing comfort of any patients who may request it.
